All issues deriving from the standard outline in the examination rules require approvement by the board, see examples below.

===== Paperless system =====
Starting from July 2026 our department is employing the **new PAPERLESS system** for all student-related administrative issues. As the name indicates this system is substituting **all former paper forms**.

__The system is used by the entire RWTH. For the study majors of our MuW department it is exclusively operated by our department´s office in IEHK institute, Intzestrasse 1. For all questions tackling issues of the paperless system please refer directly to the MuW office.__


===== Acknowledgement of credits obtained in Metallurgical Engineering for Materials Engineering =====
All former Met. Eng. students who intend to have their CP acknowledged need to use the specific form downloadable oin the department´s webpage. Generally, no further details have to be given.
