For applicants from foreign EU and Non-EU countries the [[http://www.international.rwth-aachen.de|
RWTH International Office]] (IO) is responsible. 

This covers the following issues:
  * formal admission requirements (diplomas etc.)
  * language requirements
  * fees, payments
  * Visa issues
  * late arrivals
  * ...

The evaluation of the academic background of applicants is carried out by the Examination board of M. Sc. Materials Engineering. For questions related to this issue please see [[blog:counselling|Academic Counselling]]. 


====Application====

An application is only valid for the respective semester and may not be postponed.
However, you may apply for more than 1 semester in parallel.
