===== Introduction Week =====
Introduction week is organized by the Students´ Union of Materials Science and Engineering and takes place in the first week of the Winter semester, usually this is the first week of October.
During this week there will be introductory presentations on the university, the department, and your specific study major. There will also be social events in order to get to know your classmates. 


**__The study major introcution is of specific importance since most of the uncertainties at the beginning may be clarified there. There is no mandatory presence but participation is highly recommended!__
**
