Course registration
Other than for exams there is no general mandatory registration for courses, i. e. lectures, exercises. This is due to the fact that there is no mandatory presence for these in the German universitary system. Thus, we may not confirm that you have taken part in courses unless you have passed the exam. On the other hand you may take part in any course if you like to.
For lab courses this is different and registration and presence IS mandatory. Despite these facts most courses offer registration which allows for the entry into the respective moodle learning room to get the learning materials. It is hence recommended to register, if possible.
Should you have difficulties in registration for courses or exams the institute offering the course is your first contact. Please not that the guidance counselors are generally not able to interfere with the institutes in RWTH Online. In case the problem cannot be solved please contact your administrative student counsellor.
