If you would like to pass additional subjects outside your regular curriculum you may not register for those in RWTH Online.

In this case please contcat the respective institute and ask for a guest admission in the moodle learning room. Exam registration has to be carried out directly with the institute outside RWTH Online by just putting you manually on the list.

After the exam you get a written certificate stating that you have past the exam on the respective day with a certain mark. This certificate you may add to your diploma and CV when applying for a job later on. In case the additional subject is not too far away from Materials Engineering you may apply to the examination board to have this subject listed as additional subject on your diploma.
